Betty Bee and Lilly Von Pink would like to invite you to a day of vintage inspired glamour and fun on Saturday April 24th 12pm-4pm in Hoylake.
This fabulous event begins with a short class in 1950s style hair & make-up, if you’ve ever struggled to apply a French flick or wondered how to quickly create the perfect victory roll then this class is for you. We will supply you with a simple list of items to bring from your own hair & make up kits so you can be sure to recreate the same looks at home. We will also provide a step-by-step leaflet with lots of useful hints and tips to take away.
Once you look a million dollars and of course after a well deserved cup of tea and slice of home made cake (well lifting eyelash curlers is so exhausting darling) you will then be taught a beginners class in Burlesque by the amazing Dani California.
Dani has performed all over the world including Rome and Milan and will walk you through a simple beautiful routine, which is guaranteed to unleash your inner sex siren. The class is all girls and no one is expecting you to perform in revealing outfits (unless you want to) just wear something you can move in and which makes you feel fabulous.
After Dani’s class and some more tea & cake we finish off this wonderful day with a cheesecake style photo shoot. Using old school Hollywood glamour as our inspiration we will take shots of you, which will look like you should be on the cover of a 1950s copy of Life magazine. After the event you will access to all the images on a password-protected gallery and your favourite image will be turned into an A4 print and posted out to you
